We recently welcomed students from The Ohio State University's American Foundry Society (AFS) chapter to share how Charter approaches steelmaking.

Students learned about our operations, from electric arc furnace (EAF) steelmaking to thermomechanical processing. A stop at the quality lab and inspection facility showcased how advanced testing ensures that Charter Steel meets exacting quality standards. It was all about seeing steelmaking expertise in action.

From delivering the keynote to additional presentations focused on sharing industry knowledge, it was a great opportunity to exchange ideas and connect with others at Wire Expo in Milwaukee.

We also enjoyed welcoming attendees to our facility for plant tours and giving them a firsthand look at our operations.
