We would like to congratulate Jason Smock, one of our Senior Estimators, on being selected as September's Teammate of the Month!

"Jason is the teammate people go to when they need an answer. He's a steady source of knowledge and positivity around The Zemba Companies, and he's always glad to share what he knows.

What sets Jason apart is the mentor role he's taken on in our excavation department. He brings teammates along with him while also leading the charge on new work in our area — most recently, he was integral in landing a big job that begins this month.

This week, our team headed to the Muskingum County Fair to support our local 4-H kids and recognize the hard work they've put in all year.

To all the kids who put in the time and dedication over the last several months with their projects, we loved watching your hard work pay off! The lessons you have learned will last a lifetime.

Update: The need for donations hasn't stopped, and neither has our community's support.

We're still accepting donations through 5:00 p.m. this Friday at The Zemba Companies, 3401 East Pike.

As families continue cleaning up and rebuilding, a few items are especially needed right now: cleaning supplies, shovels, sponges, rags, mops, can openers, and gift cards.

If you're able to help, we'd be grateful for your support as we prepare for our next delivery.

Update: our flood relief trailer is almost full, thanks to this community!

The response to our donation drive for Crooksville has been incredible. From toiletries and cleaning supplies to nonperishable food and pet products, neighbors from all over showed up to support those recovering from the recent flooding.

A big thank you to Lost Lands, Rankin & Rankin Insurance, LMIS, Shrivers Pharmacy, and Hilltop Pickleball Association for their generous contributions, along with many community members and Zemba teammates who dropped off donations of their own.

These donations will be delivered to Crooksville tomorrow, and we'll be accepting another round of donations next week to keep supporting our neighbors as they recover.

Before a truck ever reaches a job site, our cement is railed in and stored in silo's right at the cement terminal, ready to load and go the moment it's needed.

It's the behind-the-scenes work that keeps everything moving on schedule, even though it happens well before the finished product shows up on site.

Help Support Our Neighbors Recovering from Recent Flooding!

Recent flooding has significantly impacted Crooksville and surrounding communities, and we're coming together to help local families and neighbors as they recover.

We're collecting donations to support ongoing recovery efforts and provide much-needed supplies to community members affected by the storm. Donations can be dropped off at The Zemba Companies, 3401 East Pike, during business hours through 5:00 p.m. this Friday. Items collected this week will be delivered to Crooksville this weekend. We will continue accepting donations throughout next week, with a second delivery scheduled for next Saturday.

Most-needed items include Bottled water Nonperishable food (pop-top cans, peanut butter, granola bars, ready-to-eat meals) Toiletries and hygiene items cleaning supplies Work gloves, N95 masks, and rubber boots Pet food and supplies Gift cards (grocery stores, Walmart, Lowe's, gas stations)

We're partnering with trusted local organizations to help ensure donations are delivered directly to families and individuals who need them most.

Every contribution, big or small, can make a meaningful difference. Thank you for helping us support our neighbors and strengthen our community during this time!
