There’s a lot more that goes into these than just hitting “print.”
Every roller that leaves the shop gets assembled one at a time — magnets installed, bearings and hardware put together, wheels mounted, everything checked, then packed up and shipped.
It’s not exactly a high-tech assembly line 😂. A drill, a couple wrenches, snap-ring pliers, some hand tools, an arbor & shop press…and a growing pile of rollers waiting their turn.
When I first designed these, I was making them a few at a time. After the response they’ve gotten this year, “a few at a time” has turned into batches like the one sitting in the background.
Still assembled the same way, though — one at a time, right here in the shop.
Curious — when you see a finished 4Link4WD product, how much of it do you assume is actually made/assembled in-house?
