Lots of progress! Critical steps through this point geotechnical analysis of soil conditions, subterranean densities, compaction testing of fill material. Piers have been drilled down to rock base, beams dug and cleaned. This is a monolithic foundation with traditional, rebar. Termite treatment has been applied.  Concrete is being poured into the forms and smoothed out. Each load is tested to ensure the quality of the material. This is one of the most exciting steps in the process of building this home.
