We don't let anyone in to search at our private mine that is located less than 1/2 mile from the public search area at Arkansas' Crater of Diamonds State Park. BUT we do excavate fresh, diamond-bearing ore and offer to fill boxes and mail them out to people all across the USA so they can search through it for diamonds.
If you would like to take advantage of this special opportunity and have a box mailed to you, they are just $50 for a box that weighs approximately 22 pounds. There is no additional charge for the priority mail postage or tax. We will take care of all of that.
We do not guarantee a diamond in every box, but we do guarantee you will be the first person to ever search through it. And our box customers have been finding diamond as well as all three of the classic, diamond indicator minerals.
Here is a photo of a 62-point diamond that one customer found in a box we mailed to him. (There are 100 points of weight per carat. So, this one weighed nearly 2/3 of a carat!). The average-sized diamond found at the state park weighs 20 points (1/5 of a carat.)

The boxes of Yogo, blue sapphire ore were $100, but are no longer available.
We own a separate mine in SW Arkansas located just 1/2 outside of The Crater of Diamonds State Park. It is known as "The Worthington Diamond Mine." We offer 31-pound boxes of our unsearched, diamond ore for $40. It contains 1/2 cubit foot of diamond ore. If you order a box, you may find a genuine, USA diamond in it, but it does not contain sapphires.

Sad news from The Yogo Blue Sapphire Mine: "Our company is shut down, the land owners turned out to be horrible people and would not renew our lease and killed our company, very sad. They set us up to spend millions improving the property then pulled the rug out from underneath us."
This is very unfortunate. This was a good, family business I enjoyed working with. I hate it that they were mistreated in this way.

Today, we got this announcement from the Yogo mine in Montana: "We have decided not to continue the mine-at-home box program. We are very busy with underground mining and our employees just don't have time to put into this."
I am grateful to all of you who gave this a try while the offer lasted. It was a great way to find lovely, natural blue sapphires.

Here is an update on Yogold's underground mining of natural blue, Yogo sapphires. This photo will give you an idea of the "grade of ore coming out of the Blue Room and the 500 stope is getting better. These sapphires were mined and processed on Wednesday of this week. It is estimated that the top stone weighing 5.4 carats will cut out to a finished gem with an estimated value of $18-20,000 wholesale. Flat stones headed to Sri Lanka for fantasy cutting. In addition to the below stones, many others at 1.5 carats or smaller that will also be cut.
