What if I told you this Audi roof has no shade, no blind, no moving parts... and it blocks light on command.
It's called an electrochromic panoramic roof. There's a photoelectrical layer built right into the glass. Press the button, current flows through it, the molecules align and block the light. Press it again, they scatter, light comes back through.
Pure science. No moving parts. And yes, it's as cool as it sounds.
