After many years in the plumbing trade, my dad, Gary, is officially retiring. His Master Plumber license #16308 represents a lifetime of hard work, integrity, and dedication—he was the 16,308th Master Plumber in the state of Texas, and that number has meant everything to our family and our business.

I’m Nathan, his oldest son, 47 years old, and I’ve had the honor of working alongside him for many years. I took over the business and have continued serving our customers with the same values he taught me. My own Master Plumber license is #38613, but recently my dad asked me something that truly humbled me—if I would like to carry on his license number.

I was beyond excited and deeply honored to say yes.

In October, we took our last continuing education class together, something I’ll always cherish. I’ll be filing the paperwork to officially transfer his number to me, allowing me to continue working under the license that helped build our family business.

What makes this even more special is that the next generation is already stepping in. My 22-year-old son, Caleb, is licensed in air conditioning and is now working alongside me as we expand our business into the HVAC field, continuing our family tradition of skilled trades and honest work.

This isn’t just a license number—it’s a legacy spanning three generations.
Thank you, Dad, for the years of hard work, the lessons, and the time spent side by side. I’m proud to carry your number—and our family name—forward. Love you Dad!!

📣 BIG ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE SANDMANN FAMILY & OUR COMMUNITY 📣

I’m excited and proud to officially share a new chapter in our family’s story—and in our business.

As many of you know, my dad started Sandmann Plumbing back in the 80s. I grew up working alongside him, learning the trade, and building a name we’ve been proud to stand behind for decades.

Now, I finally get to repeat that legacy—with my own son.

My son Caleb, 22, has worked incredibly hard these past few years. He started in high school working in Heat and Air, continued his training through college, completed Heat and Air school, and just this October passed his state exam to become a licensed Heat and Air business owner.

And on Monday morning… he officially joins me so we can grow our business together.

With that, we’re proud to announce our new name:

🔥❄️ Sandmann Plumbing, Heat & Air ❄️🔥

This isn’t just a business move—this is three generations of Sandmanns building something together. And now Caleb’s son, little Jack (9 months old), gets to grow up watching his dad and grandpa continue the tradition that started long before any of us knew where it would lead.

I’m beyond proud of Caleb—of the man he’s become, the work he’s put in, and the future he’s building for his own family. Getting to work with my son, just like I did with my dad, is something I’ve hoped for my whole life.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years. We’re excited for this next chapter and can’t wait to serve you with the same honesty, quality, and family values you’ve always known—now with even more to offer.
