7H Construction was founded on several core values, one of the most important is Family! Currently our family is hurting as we mourn the loss of one of our own, Johnny Moore!!
Johnny was a very knowledgeable and valuable team mate, a true veteran of the trade. When I first met Johnny he came off a little rough, but it didn't take long to realize that it was tough love. He was going to be hard on you, but only because he saw the potential in others they may not have seen in themselves. Johnny was a great mentor to a majority of our team, myself included, not hesitating to share his expertise and knowledge to develop the next generation at 7H.
Without going into too much detail I will tell you that on July 4th Johnny was taken to the hospital and had experienced an infection that left him paralyzed. The odds were against him, but one thing I want to make sure everyone knows is that Johnny Moore was a fighter. What started on July 4th became a battle that took 10 days. After 10 days of fighting, on July 14th, Johnny went to be with the Lord!!!
Johnny was a family man, and made sure his own were taken care of, especially his loving mother. Boy did Johnny love his momma!!!
Johnny's family is going to experience some hardship, and our 7H family is asking you to help with that if you are able. We had some t-shirts made when Johnny said he wanted to fight, and we are selling them here today. The shirts are $15, and all proceeds will go to Johnny's family. We have it setup to accept cash, Venmo, cash app, and PayPal here today. If you do not want a shirt, but would like to support his family you can scan the QR codes on the screen, or an account has been setup in his memory at First Pryority Bank. Please continue to keep the Moore and 7H families in your thoughts and prayers.
God Bless Everyone in advance for their kind words and prayers!!!
Johnny Wayne Moore, Jr.
April 23, 1968 — July 14, 2025
Pryor
Johnny Wayne Moore, Jr., 57, of Pryor, passed away on July 14, 2025, in Tulsa. He was born in Pryor to Johnny Wayne Moore, Sr. and Judy (Loyd). Johnny was the kind of man who didn't shy away from hard work. He spent over a year with 7 H Construction, and before that worked with Clint Pursley, running heavy equipment — something he truly enjoyed. He also put in many miles behind the wheel as a truck driver. He served in the United States Army National Guard, proud to do his part. Away from work, he liked to keep things simple: fishing, camping, watching races at Salina High banks Speedway, and cracking open a cold Bud Light. But if you really wanted to see him light up, just mention his grandkids. They were the center of his world, and he made sure they knew it. Johnny’s life was about working hard, enjoying the outdoors, and spending time with family. He’ll be remembered for being straightforward, loyal, and always ready to share a laugh and a beer with a friend.
Johnny is survived by his daughter, Regan Wood and husband Gabe of Big Cabin, Oklahoma; mother, Judy Moore of Pryor, Oklahoma; brothers, Charlie Moore of Pryor, Oklahoma and Clifford Chamberlain and wife Janice of Pryor, Oklahoma; sisters, Gena Waldeck and husband Steve of Pryor, Oklahoma and Susie Jo Moore of Pryor, Oklahoma; 8 grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Johnny Wayne Moore, Sr.
