We are looking for a motivated tradesperson to join the CTMB carpentry team as a LEAD carpenter working alongside other carpenters and tradespeople whose mission is to provide next-level customer experience. Responsibilities include:
• Knowledge and skillset of both rough and finish carpentry
• Understanding of sub/licensed trades i.e., electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.
• Read and interpret Blueprints, spec sheets, and other instructions
• Communicate and coordinate with project manager, sub trades, apprentices, and clients
• Delegating tasks to other carpenters and ensuring proper installation
• Be alert, vigilant and proactive about potential safety concerns on projects
• Ensure work is up to current building code standards
• Ensure materials and equipment are free of defects
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of current experience in the construction industry
• Great communication skills
• Reliable transportation
• Be physically capable of lifting heavy equipment and materials
• Ability to work alone and be self-directed
