Today we did some thru the wall packaged units for an apartment complex. Customer was having issues finding a contractor who would preform the change outs. The existing equipment dates back nearly 40 years. And 40 years ago somebody thought it would be a good idea to rivet the units to the metal studs from the outside prior to drywall going up. When it doesn’t fit thru the doorways what can you do? Well in this case we opted to cut apart and scrap the existing. Now getting the new one in, that’s a bit trickier. Our guys fully disassembled the new unit, carried it down piece by piece and reassembled. Not every job is cookie cutter easy, but our professional installers sure make it look that way. More photos to follow as the work continues.
