Launchspace watched HTV-9, the last of Japan's robotic H-II Transfer Vehicles, leave the ISS. The bus-sized spacecraft that delivered cargo and supplies for use inside and outside the space station, launched on May 20 atop an H-IIB rocket and arrived five days later.

Liftoff is at 10:31 a.m. EDT (1431 GMT).

New FCC regulations will go into effect next week intended to make it easier for small satellites to get licenses for commercial operations.

Launchspace is offering 2 public courses in conjunction with the 45th AMS in Houston. We have a few seats left!

Monday & Tuesday, 11/30 - 12/1, Launchspace will deliver the 2 simultaneous courses as live presentations by leading experts in their fields at the Omni Houston Hotel.
Both are available live online as well!

Registration for either course does require attendees to apply directly @ Launchspace Services. Registration for the AMS conference is not required & does not include either of these courses.

Both courses are designed for aerospace mechanisms professionals. One course explores the traditional approach to the design & technologies of spacecraft mechanisms while the other addresses a new approach using compliant materials to solve mechanism challenges.

Courses include design & analysis examples to demonstrate principles involved in understanding mechanism functions & solutions. Choose 1 of these courses: receive 2 days of personal lectures by a leading expert, a complete set of class notes & individualized Launchspace Training Certificate of Completion.
