Pike County Courthouse Renovations, Waverly, OH 1959.

Originally constructed in 1865, by James Emmitt, after Pike County voted to relocate the county seat to Waverly from Piketon.
Keeping his promise to voters, Emmitt stated, if the Courthouse was moved, he would pay to have a new Courthouse built in Waverly.
