We cut in three new attic access points so we could properly reach everything, then sealed the attic, fixed the air leaks, and insulation values to R-49.

And just as important, each new access was sealed and insulated so it didn’t become a new problem.

When we checked the attic, and found the issue right away; those areas had little to no insulation, while the rest of the attic was properly insulated. That kind of imbalance creates major comfort problems.

Ned wanted to replace old insulation, deal with rodent contamination, and finally fix cold floors and uneven temperatures.

Once we got into the attic, it was clear; this wasn’t a quick fix. It needed to be rebuilt the right way.
We removed the old insulation, cleaned everything up, sealed the attic, improved access, and installed TruSoft cellulose for better performance and added protection.
