Governor Wolf's Executive Order

On Tuesday, January 8th, Governor Wolf announced an executive order to cut state agency energy consumption by 3 percent each year, and 21 percent by 2025, as compared to 2017 levels.

The state's investment in energy efficiency will save Pennsylvania taxpayers millions on energy costs. The move will also create jobs, putting tens of thousands of Pennsylvanians to work designing, manufacturing, and installing equipment, and constructing and retrofitting buildings that deliver better comfort and performance while using less energy.
