Cutting Z metal on the mitre saw for a recess baseboard detail. This gives it that modern look at the base of the wall — no traditional baseboard needed. Clean cut, clean finish.

One Rotten Board. Two Problems We Didn't Expect.

Replacing a fascia board sounds simple — until it isn't.
First, the height. Our 18-ft ladder barely reached and was too steep to work safely, so we made a run for a 24-footer. It was perfect!
Second, the fasteners were hidden under the roof shingles with no access. The only way in was cutting the board out piece by piece. Once we figured that out, things moved smoothly.

It was nice seeing the finished result from the ground. 😮‍💨

Custom curves require custom solutions.

To achieve this floating drywall look on a curved staircase, we hand-bent the aluminum trim on-site—getting a factory-pre-curved piece would have taken time the project didn't have.

The QUARTER-INCH REVEAL 📏

A tasteful choice when you want your walls to be on the same plane as your door jamb and baseboard, but don't want to caulk the seam (as it WILL crack) or have a big separation, like 1/2" or bigger.

This detail is notoriously tedious to achieve. A reveal this small demands near-perfection in the drywall prep and finishing—any inconsistency can be easily picked up by the eye.
