It is a good idea to switch your heat pump to emergency heat through the ice storm, but before switching back to normal heat you need to make sure the blades has no ice on them. If it is a small amount of ice, you can pour hot water over just the blades or drag a hair dryer out. If larger amounts are on there, you may need a technician to take apart and remove. Please note, Air Repair is not making a new page or participating in any "giveaway" that scams you for a credit card number. I have seen a half dozen business pages spoofed, copied, and this pirating going on, all in the last 3 hours. They steal your business photos, rename an old hacker profile to your business, and start sending friend requests.

If warm weather ever gets here it's good idea to have your ac checked once the outside temp gets 60 and above don't forget to change your filters

Just putting this out there.

If you think your carbon monoxide detectors will detect a gas leak, you are dead wrong. Carbon monoxide is the product of a flame burning improperly. Carbon monoxide detectors are NOT leak detectors! Typically, gas leaks are found one of two ways, 1) the gas is shut off, lines emptied, pressurized with plain air, and soapy water is sprayed on the lines or 2) and electronic sniffer.
Please educate yourself and understand the difference.
