Hands down the most insane panel we ever built in 2023. One other panel comes close from 2021, but this is the most complex tabletop panel we’ve ever produced. This customer wanted to teach Glass AND Steam Gauges (traditional round dials) at the same time. More specifically, to be able to teach the relationship between the two in real-time and what a student will see on a Glass display, and then the correlation to what a round dial will display. Really nice to go between the two types of avionics found in GA while staying in one aircraft and environment in the simulator. All of the telemetry data will be shown on every gauge, actively.
I personally believe this panel will absolutely shine during VOR and subsequent approach / hold instrument work. A student will be able to see how simple a hold can be with the Glass Cockpit and then how they set up a hold while tuning a VOR, and perhaps holding on a radial at a GPS/DME distance. This will pair VERY nicely with PilotEdge in Microsoft Flight Simulator or X-Plane by Laminar Research
