A little piece of Primitive PRNT hanging at the Hippodrome.

The Hippodrome has been part of the White Bear Lake hockey community for generations. Seeing the Bears Hockey logo hanging right here, made by Primitive PRNT, is a reminder of why we started Love For The Game in the first place.

It’s about more than a sign. It’s about the players, the families, the memories, and the communities that make sports what they are.

Love For The Game was created to celebrate that connection while giving back to the game and the people behind it.

Proud to see our work hanging at a place that means so much to White Bear Lake hockey.

WELL… IT’S ABOUT TIME.

After what feels like 47 business years, approximately 9,000 revisions, and an unhealthy amount of “just one more little change,” the Primitive PRNT website is FINALLY LIVE.

What was supposed to be a website launch turned into a full blown battle between perfectionism and the ability to just hit PUBLISH.

Move something. Change something. Don’t like it. Change it back. Find something else to fix. Repeat until further notice.

At some point, you have to accept that perfectionism is just procrastination wearing a nice outfit.

So here we are. The website is live, the products are ready, and I can finally stop saying “it’s almost done.”

Welcome to Primitive PRNT.

Check it out at PrimitivePRNT.com.
& yes… the link actually works this time.

Different sports. Different paths. One thing in common.

The love for the game.

Whether it’s the sound of skates hitting the ice, the crack of a bat, the bounce of a basketball, or the feeling of stepping onto the field, every sport has a story. Every athlete has a reason. And every game means something different to the person playing it.

That’s what inspired Love For The Game.

Built around the sports that bring us together, our designs let you represent what you love. Customize your lettering, choose the sport that defines you, and make it yours.

No single sport. No single way to play. Just a love for the game, however you define it.

We’re currently going through our hockey equipment and getting everything organized by size and category.

We have a growing selection of used youth hockey equipment, along with some adult sizes, available as we sort through everything.

If you or someone you know is looking for equipment, please reach out! We can schedule a time for you to come pick up what you need, completely free, no questions asked. We want to help get equipment into the hands of those who need it and make it easier for kids and families to get involved in sports.

We are located in the Maplewood/White Bear Lake Area.

As we move through the seasons, we’ll be looking to expand into other sports and add equipment as it becomes relevant.

Our goal is simple: help families, keep equipment in use, and give more kids the opportunity to get in the game.

More updates coming as we get everything organized!

We’re also working on some custom name tag designs.

For the sports fans, these can be made as a jersey with your player’s number and last name, with the option to add a team logo on the front.

We’re also offering a hockey rink design that can be customized with a last name, number and/or team logo on either side of the rink.

A few different ways to make them your own, whether it’s for a player, locker, room, equipment bag or wherever else you want to put it.

If you have an idea for a custom design, send it our way. We’re always looking for new ways to make these personal to the player and their team.
