Here is a throwback from about 1984 or 85 at the RJ Walker product show in Wilkes-Barre. From left to right is myself, Ray Slovinski, Bob Walker, Leonard Troy , and John Walker. Over 40 years later they still put on a good product show, I don’t think I ever missed one.

Here is a look of what goes on behind the walls of a custom shower. To handle the extra drainage needed I installed a custom linear shower drain with two outlets. Faucets by Moen. All framing and tile work done by Rick Gdovin.

This winter is really taking its toll on steam boilers. Installation of a new Peerless steam boiler with correct piping on the steam header.

Who remembers one of their first chores of “Taking out the ashes”?
One more coal boiler replacement and in its place is a Burnham oil steam boiler with tankless coil for hot water. Also the installation of a Roth double wall oil tank. I am glad I don’t do these every day because with 80 years of ash dust build up it is one dirty job!

Before and after steam boiler and water heater installation. The old water heater was improperly vented out the side of the house so to fix this I core drilled through about 20” of masonary and stone to get the vent in to the existing chimney.(not fun)!!

Before and after, Laars FT wall hung boiler with four zones. Intake air drawn from the side of the house and the venting was run up the old chimney. Although the flood of 72 is long gone Agnes still has left her fingerprints of ”Flood Mud” inside the controls of the old system.

So last summer I performed some upgrades to the heating system at the old Dominic’s in Hudson. Seeing first hand from what it was then to today I can tell you the place looks fantastic. It’s great to see investment in the community. Be sure to put this restaurant on your list!
