Lewisburg, Pa. — Geisinger officials, employees and community partners gathered Thursday, Aug. 6, to celebrate the opening of the new Geisinger Cancer Center Lewisburg with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

A major project to replace the dilapidated lakefront facilities at Merli-Sarnoski Park in Fell Twp. will soon begin after Lackawanna County OK’d a $1.6 million contract.

The Martin Rogers team took a break from our projects to enjoy a summer picnic filled with delicious BBQ, ice cream, and great company. It was the perfect chance to relax, catch up, and spend some time together outside.

Last week, we had the privilege of attending the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Renovation and Expansion Project topping out ceremony.
A topping out ceremony is a long-standing construction tradition that celebrates the placement of a building's final structural beam, marking the completion of the building's framework. It is an opportunity to recognize the dedication and craftsmanship of the entire construction team before the building is enclosed.
Before being lifted into place, the final beam was painted white, allowing the architects, engineers, construction team, and building owners to sign it. The signatures are a lasting symbol of the collaboration, hard work, and commitment. It will leave a permanent mark on the building's history.

Martin Rogers is proud to be part design team for the GSWB Inpatient Renovation Project, an initiative focused on improving the overall healthcare experience. This project includes the addition of 36 new private medical-surgical beds, designed to provide patients greater comfort and privacy.

WILKES-BARRE – Wilkes-Barre mayor, George Brown, and fire chief, Jay Delaney, recently went on a tour at Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre to see the progress of renovations on the fourth floor that will add 36 private medical-surgical beds to its inpatient capacity.
