Back at it in downtown Wilmington, NC!

Today I was working in the downstairs bathroom of a two-story townhouse for a general contractor I’ve been partnering with on multiple projects.

- Carefully removed the old framing (saving lumber per the GC’s request)
- Took out all of the subfloor
- Removed several damaged floor joists so the new work can be done on a solid foundation

Removed all framing in this 2nd-floor bathroom (carefully saving it for reuse) and took up the entire subfloor to prep for the remodel.

Another downtown Wilmington project in the books 🙏🏼🙌🏼

The GC had me carefully remove and save the existing return box, cut a new return opening on the opposite wall, and cut an additional opening for the HVAC contractor. I also added support blocking between the floor joists so everything is solid and ready for the new ductwork. Before any cutting or demo, I laid down floor protection to make sure the existing wood floors didn’t get damaged.

Wrapped up a neat selective demo job today 💪🏼🙌🏼

This homeowner is in the middle of a remodel and needed this kitchen wall opened up so the electrician could access the framing and run new wiring. I carefully removed the sheetrock down to the studs, protected the floors, and hauled off all debris so the next trade can get to work clean and safe.

Garage Epoxy Floor Protection – Fresh Finish, Fully Covered

Today we helped a homeowner protect their brand-new epoxy garage floor while other contractors finish work on site. Fresh epoxy looks awesome, but it can scratch, stain, or get damaged quickly if it isn’t covered during the rest of the build.

We installed a full protective floor system (seamed, taped, and secured around posts and edges) to keep the surface safe from:

• dropped tools/materials
• dust and debris
