Stadia and Stadia Neptune are portable altimeters designed to give pilots better altitude awareness during landing. The original Stadia uses a LIDAR to measure the aircraft's distance above the ground within inches, helping pilots to perfect their landings. The more capable Stadia Neptune improves on the original Stadia by using a radar instead of a LIDAR, doubling the range and allowing for operations on water as well as land. Multiple attachment mechanisms allow for installation on virtually any aircraft without an STC.
