Annual reminder as temperatures drop to frigid cold to put a heat lamp or electric heater in your well house. Fill a bathtub and have a bucket ready to flush the toilet in the event power goes out. Leave cold water running a light stream in one or more sinks, and open cabinet doors below to help keep pipes warm. Stay in, stay dry, stay thawed and stay safe! Welcome to winter 2025!!

Winter temps are coming! Make sure your well house is ready. Install an electric heater or hot lamp, check for air leaks, add insulation where needed, call a service company if you’re new to using a well or need help.

If you’re prepping for storms in our area be sure to fill some pitchers for drinking water and fill a bathtub with water to use to flush the toilets! If power goes out your well will not work.
