This is what happens when the original builder cuts corners on flashing. Rain gets behind the siding and puddles up into you soffits. Customer said they had a woodpecker problem. Woodpeckers like insects. Rotten damp wood attracts insects and woodpeckers. If you see signs of this happening, give me a call. I just don't replace the wood, I solve the problem so it doesn't happen again!
