Apparently, we’ve been more than a little quiet around here! And by a little quiet, we mean we somehow blinked and realized we haven’t properly updated our page since May.

Oops.

The good news? It definitely hasn’t been because we haven’t had anything to share.

Quite the opposite.

EMTM Construction LLC has had a busy summer, and while our social media page may have been gathering dust, we certainly haven’t been. We’ve been painting, building, repairing, remodeling, roofing, transforming spaces, meeting new homeowners, and working on some really fantastic projects throughout North Georgia! It has been a gift working for you all.

Who else has had a great summer? 🌞

At EMTM Construction, we pride ourselves on working professionally, efficiently, and with a sense of urgency. We know that when homeowners invite us into their homes, they want to enjoy their new spaces as soon as possible, and we're committed to making that happen.

But no matter how many projects we complete, there's always a small tinge of sadness when it's time to say goodbye.

Over the course of a renovation, something special happens. We learn about your families, your routines, your dreams for your home, and the memories you're hoping to create there. What begins as a project often becomes a relationship, and by the time we hand over the finished space, it feels like we're saying goodbye to friends.

To all of our amazing homeowners: thank you for trusting us with your homes, your visions, and your stories. It is a privilege we never take for granted, and while we're always excited to move on to the next project, we'll always miss the wonderful people we meet along the way.

With gratitude,
The EMTM Construction Team

Each day may be different, but the message is always the same: revitalize, transform, reshape, and renew.

Some projects stay with you in a slightly different way.
We’ve been deep in the middle of remodeling a home for a veteran. It’s been long days, dusty boots, design changes, problem-solving—the usual rhythm of what we do—but there’s been something heavier (in a good way) sitting underneath it all.

Maybe it’s because we're a veteran-owned business ourselves. Maybe it’s because there’s an unspoken understanding there—of service, of sacrifice, of showing up and getting the job done even when it’s hard.

This isn’t just a remodel. It’s someone’s space being rebuilt, refreshed, made comfortable again. And being trusted with that, especially by someone who’s given so much, means everything to us.

We’re grateful for the work. Grateful for the trust. And always grateful for those who’ve served.

This post begins and ends with gratitude.

As many of you know, we at EMTM Construction LLC believe in our civic duty to support those who are unhoused. Because we do this work independently (meaning we aren’t affiliated with any organizations), our approach is hands-on. It allows us to be invited into vulnerable communities, where we can establish relationships and provide direct resources.

Sometimes, those resources can help reshape situations on a larger scale; other times, all we can offer is a warm drink, a sandwich, and a conversation. Each month carries a level of unpredictability, but our intention remains the same: to provide comfort, dignity, and necessity wherever we can.

And that’s where the gratitude comes in. We're willing to do the work, but without the unwavering generosity and support of our community, none of this would be possible.

Tomorrow's drop-off includes 34 blankets, 3 sleeping bags, 47 towels, 18 washcloths, 7 toothbrushes, 11 tubes of toothpaste, additional hygiene products, and clothing. Each of these items has been donated—some by complete strangers.

So, THANK YOU to everyone who has donated and continues to give. We are deeply grateful for your role in helping to reestablish community and strengthen our connection to one another.

This is humanity.

Congratulations to our homeowners, the Bennetts, on their first home! We’ve loved transforming this room into a sophisticated, earthy, and warm family space, complete with freshly painted walls, new double-glazed windows, and beautiful new floors.

As one chapter closes, another begins...

The weather is grim outside, so instead of playing in the rain, we’re indoors playing with water. This bathroom remodel is a gift for a homeowner’s in-laws who are relocating to Georgia from out of state! It'll be finished tomorrow, just in time for their arrival.

What a great moving-in gift!

Another kitchen transformation in the books—and this one was a GOOD one!

We took this space from “works fine” to “why would you ever leave?” with a full kitchen extension and remodel designed for real life (and real messes).

• More natural light
• More functional layout
• Custom cabinetry
• Clean, neutral tones that will age beautifully
• And enough counter space to host every holiday from now until forever
