Believe it or not, I shaded my outdoor air-conditioning unit through the oppressive heat dome days we had, just for 3 weeks
I was anxiously, awaiting my electric bill to come in July. With 7 refrigerators and at least 7 ceiling fans running the whole time, I was expecting a 3-400 dollar electric bill. When the bill arrived, the other day,I, was afraid to open it. I carefully,and slowly opend3rhe electric bill, I wanted to cry. My bill was 138 dollars!!!. So,my test on shading my outdoor ac, did work, exactly the way,I thought wiuld. To all the nay sayers, and people who thought I was a moron, I would have paid double that,during thise crucial heat time. I'm not trying to brag or shame,anyone who discouted my efforts, but it was half,what I paid last year. Just thought I would share something I put out ther a month ago, and got beat up for the suggestion.Cheets

By shading my outdoor air-conditioning Monday, I was running at75 degrees. As of toaday, Wednesday, had to bump wall thermostat up to 78 degrees. Feels like a meat locker in here today. Bump to 79 degrees tonight. I really believe by shading the outdoor unit, it's definitely made a difference. Disclaimer, This May Not Work in all Applications,.

After 40 years plus Services installation Downriver, we would like to thank everyone who patronize their service.
