We made shoes from Shorai™!

While in Italy for Lineapelle Milan, our team visited Calzature Tarcio, a Bologna-based artisan workshop founded in 1960 by Tarcisio Fregnani, and specializing in handcrafted footwear.

There we met Marco, Cinza, and Roberto, the children of Tarcisio who now run the family business “Calzature Tarcio”, and Stuart Russell Brown, Founder of Scarabeo Shoes.

Together, they walked us through the shoemaking process, from lasting to finishing.

A huge thank you to the Tarcio team (.shoes) and Stuart () for giving us a behind-the-scenes look at the shoe-making process and for handcrafting these beautiful biobased heels!
