🌏 The world's leading battery manufacturers recently came to Vietnam looking for innovation, not customers.

New Energy Huangpu brought companies from across China's energy sector to see what energy and climate technology is being developed in Vietnam. EnergiShift was invited to present about our unique energy solutions.

Our conversations were focused not on what is currently available in the market but what's coming next. Battery storage technology is developing quickly, and many of the existing solutions will be obsolete in the coming years.

🔭 What became clear in those conversations is that the hardware is only half the answer. Two factories can install the same battery and get very different results, because the savings depend on how the system is operated minute by minute.

That key problem lies at the heart of our technology. Our AI platform forecasts a factory's consumption and dispatches the battery around Vietnam's pricing windows, optimizing good hardware and lowering the electricity bill. Chinese manufacturing paired with Vietnamese operating intelligence is a strong combination, and we left excited about what the future holds.

⭐ EnergiShift: KHI TRÍ TUỆ NHÂN TẠO HÒA NHỊP CÙNG CHUYỂN DỊCH NĂNG LƯỢNG ⭐

"Mỗi cuộc thi là một cơ hội để mình hoàn thiện bản thân, mài giũa ý tưởng và kiểm chứng xem mô hình kinh doanh của mình có thực sự hoạt động hiệu quả dưới góc nhìn của các chuyên gia hay không." — Kevin, đồng sáng lập EnergiShift.

Xuất phát từ khoảng thời gian sống tại nước ngoài và tiếp xúc sớm với sự bùng nổ của AI, trở về Việt Nam với tinh thần dám nghĩ dám làm, Kevin đã bắt đầu ứng dụng AI để giải quyết các bài toán thực tế. Và đó cũng là lúc EnergiShift chính thức ra đời.

EnergiShift là mô hình Battery-as-a-Service dành cho khối thương mại và công nghiệp tại Việt Nam. EnergiShift thiết kế và vận hành hệ thống pin nhỏ nhất nhưng mang lại mức tiết kiệm lớn nhất, được xử lý tại Việt Nam và thanh toán dựa trên kết quả đã được xác minh.

Đã từng gặt hái những dấu ấn nhất định tại các cuộc thi khởi nghiệp, EnergiShift chọn ClimateLaunchpad 2026 như một "bệ phóng" tiếp theo. Lý do không chỉ dừng lại ở quy mô toàn cầu, mà còn ở góc nhìn chuyên sâu về tác động khí hậu và bức tranh giảm phát thải cacbon, yếu tố then chốt giúp EnergiShift định hình chiến lược dài hạn.

Trải qua hành trình từ vòng đơn, vòng Boot Camp cùng chuyên gia quốc tế cho đến các buổi Follow-up Boot Camp Coaching 1:1 vừa qua với dàn cố vấn quốc gia giàu kinh nghiệm, EnergiShift đã có sự chuyển mình rõ rệt. Từ một ý tưởng sơ khởi, EnergiShift đã đúc kết một mô hình kinh doanh hoàn thiện, sắc nét và rõ ràng hơn rất nhiều. Starting from his time living abroad and early exposure to the AI boom, Kevin returned to Vietnam with a bold, can-do spirit, leveraging AI to solve real-world problems. That was also the moment EnergiShift was officially born.

EnergiShift is a Battery-as-a-Service model for the Commercial and Industrial sector in Vietnam. EnergiShift designs and operates the smallest battery systems that deliver the highest savings, processed locally in Vietnam and paid based on verified performance.

Having achieved milestones in previous startup competitions, EnergiShift selected ClimateLaunchpad 2026 as its next launching pad. The decision was driven not only by the competition's global scale, but also by its deep focus on climate impact and carbon reduction—key factors helping EnergiShift shape its long-term strategy.

Throughout its journey from the application round and the Bootcamp with international experts to the recent 1:1 Follow-up Bootcamp Coaching sessions with national mentors, EnergiShift has undergone a clear transformation. From an initial concept, EnergiShift has reshaped and refined its business model into a much clearer and sharper strategy. The competition has also helped the team clearly identify climate change metrics, energy efficiency indicators, and the financial figures needed for investors.

🔍 What happens to a rooftop solar system when the company that installed it goes out of business?

Our team recently visited a manufacturing facility in Bắc Ninh and saw the answer firsthand. Their solar panels had underperformed for years after the installer shut down, leaving the factory with no maintenance, no performance monitoring, and no one to call when a fault appeared.

Problems like this rarely show up on a quotation. Solar and battery systems are meant to last a decade, but performance depends on the company behind them for their lifespan. When that company disappears, the losses build up month after month on the electricity bill.

🚀 EnergiShift x ClimateLaunchpad

We're proud to share that EnergiShift has been selected for the ClimateLaunchpad 2026 Vietnam Cohort, one of the world's largest programs for climate and green tech startups.

We recently joined founders from across the region for the program's bootcamp.

Our mission is to give Vietnam's businesses real control over how and when they use energy, unlocking their full potential. Today, many factories simply absorb whatever the grid charges them, paying up to 3× more during peak hours than off-peak, but we're here to change that through our AI-powered battery systems. 🔋

Across three days, we sharpened our business tool-kit: pitching, go-to-market strategy, business model, and financials. What we left with was a renewed fire and the skills to back it up.

Từ ngày 17/06 đến ngày 19/06/2026, trong khuôn khổ ClimateLaunchpad Việt Nam 2026, Boot Camp B được tổ chức trực tuyến thành công tốt đẹp, với sự tham gia tích cực của 13 đội thi đến từ hai miền Bắc và Trung (Hà Nội, Nghệ An, Quảng Trị, Nha Trang, Lâm Đồng). Sự kiện này chính thức khép lại chương trình đào tạo tập trung, hoàn thành lộ trình trang bị nền tảng và công cụ khởi nghiệp công nghệ xanh cho toàn bộ các đội thi của mùa giải năm nay.

Chuỗi ngày đào tạo được dẫn dắt với chuyên gia quốc tế Ron Bloemers với sự đồng hành của các cố vấn quốc gia. Bên cạnh đó, sự kiện cũng nhận được sự tham gia từ Hanns Seidel Foundation Vietnam, đơn vị đồng tổ chức ClimateLaunchpad Việt Nam và Trung tâm Nghiên cứu, Tư vấn sáng tạo và Phát triển bền vững (CCS), đơn vị tổ chức chính cuộc thi tại Việt Nam.

Trong suốt ba ngày làm việc, các đội thi đã trải qua chuỗi bài học chuyên sâu nhằm hoàn thiện ý tưởng, mô hình kinh doanh của mình. Thông qua bài giảng, các đội thi đã có những câu hỏi, những trao đổi với chuyên gia quốc tế và các cố vấn quốc gia.

⭐ OFFICIAL CLOSING OF THE 2026 BOOT CAMP TRAINING IN VIETNAM: INSPIRING AND EQUIPPING TEAMS WITH CORE FOUNDATIONS AT BOOT CAMP B 🎉

From June 17 to June 19, 2026, as part of ClimateLaunchpad Vietnam 2026, Boot Camp B was successfully held online, with the active participation of 13 competing teams from the Northern and Central regions (Hanoi, Nghe An, Quang Tri, Nha Trang, and Lam D**g). This event officially concludes the intensive training program, successfully completing the roadmap to equip all competing teams of this year's season with core foundations and green technology startup tools.

The training series was led by international expert Ron Bloemers, alongside national mentors. Additionally, the event welcomed the participation of Hanns Seidel Foundation Vietnam (representing the co-organizer of ClimateLaunchpad Vietnam), and Mr. Nguyen Hong Long, Director of the Center for Creativity and Sustainability Study and Consultancy (CCS) (representing the team supporting and the main organizer of the competition in Vietnam).

Throughout the three-day program, the teams underwent a series of intensive sessions to refine their business ideas and models. Through the lectures, the teams engaged in insightful Q&A sessions and discussions with both the international expert and national mentors. ClimateLaunchpad Vietnam believes that the teams have gained valuable knowledge to nurture and realize their green business ideas aimed at combating climate change.

CCS and ClimateLaunchpad Vietnam would like to express our sincere gratitude to Hanns Seidel Foundation Vietnam, as well as the experts and national mentors, for their invaluable support in making Boot Camp B a great success. ⚡ EnergiShift x EU-Vietnam Energy Efficiency Startup Day

Last week, we took part in the closing event of the AIS4EE program in Hanoi.

It was a great opportunity to stand alongside a cohort of climate-tech founders and showcase what we've been building here at EnergiShift: AI-powered battery storage solutions for businesses, designed to help tackle Vietnam's energy challenges. 🔋

The energy and battery storage markets are shifting fast, making this an exciting moment to be building. Real change is coming in how energy is generated, stored, and consumed, and EnergiShift is poised to be at the forefront of this transformation.

It was great to speak with H.E. Ekaterina Zaharieva, EU Commissioner for Startups, Research and Innovation, and H.E. Julien Guerrier, EU Ambassador to Vietnam, a reflection of the growing EU-Vietnam partnership on clean energy and innovation.

As part of our ongoing R&D process, our team recently visited a battery manufacturing facility in Guangzhou.

One key takeaway from the visit was that when it comes to energy storage, many systems may look identical on paper. In reality, the true differences emerge in manufacturing practices such as cell grading and matching, welding quality, thermal management, and factory-level testing and safety controls.

These details have a direct impact on how battery systems age, degrade, and perform over time, and are especially important when evaluating energy storage investments designed to operate reliably over a 7–10 year lifespan. What may appear to be minor manufacturing decisions can significantly influence long-term durability, safety, and overall system performance.

Seeing these operations firsthand reinforced the importance of site visits. They help us move beyond brochure specifications and better understand what it takes to build energy solutions that businesses in Vietnam can truly rely on.

2024–2025 marks a turning point for battery storage adoption.

With global battery energy storage deployments growing over 40% YOY in 2024, battery solutions are rapidly moving from pilots to real-world deployment (BloombergNEF).

Earlier this year at the Canton Fair, we heard this sentiment echoed again and again as manufacturers and integrators are no longer debating whether battery storage will scale, but how fast it’s being deployed across commercial use cases.

From new battery technologies to strategic partnership conversations, those discussions helped clarify how global momentum can translate into practical, deployable solutions for businesses in Vietnam.
