So you’ve decided to go solar... what should you expect to need in order to start the process? Send us your most recent twelve months of electric bills as PDF files. Most utility companies allow you to download your bills in PDF format directly from their website if you have a registered login for your account.
With the information from your bills, we are able to calculate the system size that will best serve your needs and to maximize the ROI for your usage. We will likely ask you if you plan to add to your electric load needs in the near future: adding an electric vehicle charger soon? Switching from gas to electric appliances in a planned remodel? Building an addition? Maybe bringing more family to live in your home who will use more power? These are all factors in determining what will be needed for your new solar PV system.
Once we have a final determination on the system size, we have a look to see if the roof is in relatively good condition and can reasonably support your new system. (Nobody wants to tear off their beautiful new solar PV system to replace an old roof just a few years down the road.)
We take all of these variables into consideration, plug in our going rates and provide you with your fair market price to include design, materials, permits and installation.

The federal solar tax investment credit is in its final year of availability for residential systems (unless the term is extended by Congress, TBD).
Qualified taxpayers (check with your CPA or tax pro: most homeowners and commercial building owners do qualify) can deduct 22% of the system cost for systems installed on or before the end of 2021...
