Listen… today was one of those days.
The kind you don’t rush.

The kind that reminds you why freedom matters.
I finally drove down to the fibreglass supplier and picked up the last materials to finish a teardrop camper I’ve been building quietly, in my own time.
No deadlines.
No boss breathing down my neck.
Just progress when the mood is right.
The whole shell?
Hand-built from thick polystyrene, bonded together, layered with epoxy and cloth.
Now I’m on the second coat—this time with a clean white pigment.
Slow. Intentional. Satisfying.
I even picked up LED lights for the inside.
The interior will be simple. Lightweight plywood. Functional. Clean.
Why am I sharing this?
Because this little camper isn’t really about camping.
It’s about choice.
Most people never get to work on things like this.
Not because they lack skill…
But because they lack time and mental space.
Their energy is spent chasing paydays instead of building memories.
And here’s the part that really hit me today…
I haven’t posted a link on Facebook in a while.
I haven’t stressed about numbers.
I haven’t forced anything.
I’ve been living.
Building something with my hands.
Planning future trips.
Thinking about filming the journey and sharing it on YouTube—not to sell, but to document a life well lived.
Funny thing is…
This lifestyle didn’t come from working harder.
It came from setting things up once, letting them run, and giving myself permission to slow down.
