MindLabs

MindLabs MindLabs is transforming STEM education! Our newest product, MindLabs: Energy and Circuits, is the result of three years of effort and two Federal grants.

Our innovative technology platform combines augmented reality with hands-on tools, empowering elementary educators to engage students with guided engineering challenges and collaborative design projects.

🌮 Cinco de Mayo + Taco Tuesday? Reggie says that’s a perfect combo.

Time to add a little flavor to your STEM program.

MindLabs brings hands-on design, augmented reality exploration, and student thinking together in one place. Students test ideas. Capture their learning. And actually see science in action.

So while you’re celebrating tacos today, Reggie’s celebrating something else too… classrooms filled with curiosity, creativity, and discovery.

Ready to spice up STEM? 🌶️

Some of the most powerful forces in a classroom aren’t fictional.

They’re curiosity, persistence, creativity, and the confidence students build when they get to explore how things work.

Today we’re celebrating the educators who help students keep building, testing, and imagining what’s possible.

May the 4th be with you. 💫

Great teaching is a talent.

It takes creativity to make complex ideas click. It takes instinct to know when to push and when to encourage. It takes patience, humor, flexibility, and a remarkable ability to keep students curious even on the toughest days.

The classrooms you build change how students see themselves and what they believe they’re capable of.

We’re grateful for the expertise, heart, and energy you bring to your work every day. Thank you for what you make possible for students. 💜

That’s a wrap on BOOST Collaborative Conference 2026 in Palm Springs! ☀️

We had such a great time meeting program leaders, educators, and partners who are thinking creatively about how to make STEM more engaging, more flexible, and easier to run in out-of-school settings.

One of the highlights for us was sharing our newest MindLabs units and hearing how many of you are looking for hands-on experiences that work across mixed ages, short sessions, and varied staff backgrounds. Those conversations matter. They shape what we build next.

If you stopped by Booth 223, entered the Smart TV giveaway, watched a demo, or just said hello, thank you. It meant a lot to connect with you in person.

If we didn’t get a chance to talk, it’s not too late. We’d still love to show you what’s new.

See you next year, BOOST! 🌴

We’re in Palm Springs this week for the BOOST Collaborative Conference 🌴

Stop by Booth 223 to see how MindLabs brings hands-on STEM to life with AR lab simulations designed for afterschool, summer programs, libraries, and expanded learning spaces. Students design, test, and reflect on their thinking while educators get meaningful insight into the learning process.

If you’re exploring ways to strengthen STEM in grades 3–5 without adding prep time or complexity, we’d love to connect. Come say hello!

Proud moment for our team this week at ASU+GSV. Amanda Thompson, CEO of MindLabs, had the chance to connect with former Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb while sharing the vision behind MindLabs and our work expanding access to hands-on STEM learning for elementary students.

Conversations like this matter. They help bring more attention to the importance of preparing young learners to think creatively, solve real problems, and see themselves in future STEM pathways.

Grateful to be part of a community that’s pushing education forward and opening doors for what comes next.

At MACUL this year, we noticed something unusual.

Some educators weren’t just exploring new STEM ideas. They were already planning where they would use them in their classrooms.

Why does that happen in some regions more than others?

We’re seeing a clear pattern: when schools are connected to strong local STEM partners—libraries, afterschool programs, science centers, and regional service organizations—innovation moves faster and reaches more students.

In our latest blog, we share what these ecosystems look like across several states and why they make such a difference for schools launching STEM programs or activating STEM spaces.
