I’VE GONE MOBILE!!! I’ve now set up the danger ranger to be a mini weld truck! Currently I’m only doing stick work or small flux work. Got to do a test run on a plow mount on a riding mower. Tacked the broken piece back on then back gouged the joint on both sides for max pe*******on. A 6010 root with a 7018 fill and cap. Then traced the mount onto a piece of 1/2”x4” flat bar, and tacked that into place. 7018 was the rid of choice to weld it solid. After it was solid in place I went back in with my die grinder to copy the shape as needed. Threw a coat of primer on it and it was ready for the plow. Plow mounted up perfect and was tested hard with this past snow fall! Message me if you have any welding needs shop work or field work we can make it happen!

Another year another hunting season which means another tree stand build. Widened the stand to allow more movement, and since the fabric seat deteriorated went with steel mesh. Added another layer of mesh to the front for no other reason other than when you’re bored in the stand.

Out with the old and in with the new! Put some time into this new trailer winch. Not only was the tube the perfect height for the winch to go through the rollers but also doubled for a nice little storage space. Handmade doors with latches that allow you to lock them and keep the winch kill switch safe from the elements. Then welded up a battery hold down so there’s no more lugging around a battery. Threw a fresh coat of paint on it and called it a day. Message me if you’d like something similar or something else custom built!

Had been contacted to replace this old steel smoker water tray. With all the rust and holes in the original steel we decided that the replacement would be better if it was stainless steel. We had the cut 14 gauge stainless on the plasma table and bent it into shape. Then welded the seams and got ready for the 2”x2” hand bent legs, welded those on in each corner. Once completed the finish product was then tested, filled with water to test for leaks after which passed!

A grinder and a welder is all you need for a quick and dirty front bumper! The future truck of Rank’s Welding and Fabrication was under the knife getting a new front bumper and a modified exhaust. That’s right Ranks is in the works of going mobile!

Was contacted to build a can crusher that could handle a lot of cans without worry. Able to crush the big 16oz cans, a regular can, and your smaller Red Bull cans. For the small things figured a bottle opener could be interpreted into the crushing platform for all users. This can crusher was a fun build and it should stand the test of time!
