⚒️ Underground Cable Bolter – New Contract | 7/7 Roster ⚒️

Location: Gold fields, Western Australia
Roster: 7 days on / 7 days off (day & night shift rotation)
Employment Type: Full-Time | Ongoing Contract

About the Role:

We’re launching a new underground mining contract and are looking for experienced Cable Bolter Operators to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to get on board early with a new project and secure consistent, long-term work on a family-friendly 7/7 roster.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate underground cable bolting equipment safely and efficiently

Install and maintain ground support systems in line with site requirements

Conduct pre-start inspections and basic maintenance on equipment

Collaborate with shift supervisors, miners, and geotechnical teams to meet production targets

Adhere to all site safety and environmental procedures

What We’re Looking For:

✅ Proven experience operating underground cable bolters (Sandvik, DS 420)
✅ Current underground competencies and Driver’s Licence
✅ National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
✅ Sound knowledge of underground mining practices
✅ Strong safety focus and ability to work in a team environment

Previous experience in underground mining equipment (preferably drills)

Relevant mechanical trade qualifications

Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and diagnostics

Ability to work autonomously and in a team

Commitment to safety and quality workmanship

Valid Australian driver’s licence

Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening

Desirable:

Experience with rigs such as Sandvik, Atlas Copco, or Epiroc

HR licence and/or do***ng, rigging tickets

Experience in a fitter/operator capacity
