Drainage works - Update

We notified you previously of upcoming works starting on October 17th, unexpectedly our permit from the Kent County Council Highways Team was put on hold. This was due to UKPN needing to carry out emergency works in another road in the area.

Our planned works will now be taking place from Tuesday 1st November and are expected to last around 4 weeks.

Whilst no driveways will be affected for this phase of the works, there will be a three-way traffic light system in place for the first week and a two-way thereafter. Some parking bays directly outside the site will be utilised as part of this.

Update #02

The required parking bays have been suspended to allow for the safe and secure storage of the plant and materials which have now been delivered ready for works to begin on Wednesday.

On Wednesday, phase 1 of the traffic management system will be installed, further details of which are available on the initial letter we sent to all nearby residents.

Update #01

Following on from our initial letter and the responses received, we have made some changes to the proposed traffic management system.

We are pleased to say that this now means that there will be less disruption to driveway access and parking availability than we first envisaged.

Further to this, both phases of the traffic management system will now be two-way systems which should also reduce disruption compared to the original planned setup.

Other than these changes, we are still looking to start works on the 25th of July and are expecting them to last around 5-6 weeks.
