Learn About the Indoor Air Quality in Your Home
According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, over 50 million people in North America suffer from allergies and asthma. Indoor air quality is a growing concern, which surprisingly can be two to five times more polluted than outdoor air. Growing trends in energy-efficient construction have allowed pollution to become highly concentrated in in

door environments. Ensure your family's health and take a strong stand to prevent harmful contaminants in your home. Educate yourself on the sources of indoor pollutants and how to reduce their harmful effects. The most common indoor pollutants include:
• Asbestos
• Organic chemical cc
• Radon
• Lead
• Mold and mildew
• Dust mites and dust
• Carbon Monoxide
• Pet Dander
These pollutants come from a variety of sources, such as:
• Building materials
• Heating and air condition
• Tobacco smoke
• Pets
• Dirt and dust
• Household chemicals
• Combustion materials
• Insects
The Air-Maxx offers a product that purify the air, clean your home's surfaces and eliminates harmful contaminants. Our products are for everyone who wants to breathe clean air. Most Common Pollution Sources
Indoor pollution sources that release gas or particles into the air are the primary cause of indoor air quality. Some causes to indoor air pollution is inadequate ventilation by not allowing in enough outdoor air to dilute emissions or by not carrying enough indoor air pollutants out. Indoor pollution sources include oil, gas, tobacco products, building materials, asbestos-containing insulation, cabinetry or furniture made of certain pressed wood products or household cleaning products. Outdoor pollution sources include pesticides and outdoor air pollution. Some of these sources like building materials or household products, such as air fresheners, release pollutants almost continuously. Sources related to activities carried out in the home release pollutants intermittently. Most common are smoking, the use of unvented stoves or space heaters and the use of household cleaning products. Many of these products with high pollutant concentrations can remain in the air for long periods of time after the activity is complete. A HEPA, High Efficiency Particulate Air, filter is a type of air filter that satisfies certain standards of efficiency and are able to remove up to 99.9% of airborne particles that are 0.3 micrometers in diameter. The first HEPA filter was designed in the 1940's to prevent the spread of airborne radioactive contaminants by the Manhattan Project. By the 1950's, HEPA filters became commercialized. Over the years, the HEPA filter has become in demand by those seeking better indoor air quality. There are many variations of HEPA filters, but only those which have passed a test can be considered True HEPA. HEPA-type or HEPA-like filters might be made similar to True HEPA filters but these filters do not meet the same standards. When deciding on filter make sure it meets the standards of a True HEPA to keep your family and home healthy. Always Performing
Known for convenience, durability and unrivaled cleaning performance, the Air-Maxx is engineered to make your cleaning easier and more effective. The Air-Maxx provides consistent power, featuring revolutionary cyclonic action. This unique airflow system separates the dirt from the airflow, thus improving the cleaning performance and extending the life of the bag and motor. Conventional vacuums tend to lose power because the airflow, which is essential for cleaning, is blocked. In the typical vacuum, once dirt and debris enter the bag, the air must be pulled through the dirt, blocking the airflow and causing the machine to lose power. Because of cyclonic action, the powerful motor of the Air-Maxx directs incoming air over the dirt. Even when the bag is full, the airflow and suction power are unaffected. There is no appreciable loss in power because air passes over the dirt and debris in the bag rather than through it.
