Another day in the forge and stuff again. After like 5 attempts I have an acceptable turning wrench. All thst is left is some filing to clean it up and some case hardening.

Also punched diamond holes in 1/2" square bar the holes look good but they are slightly out of line with the center of the bar. More pratice is needed but we will get there.

Another day in the forge and we continue stuff. Messed up another scrolling wrench, started another. Head/bench.

Also did some pratice punching holes in 1/2" round the holes look good (the squished one was nice before the one on the other end was done) but the punch is pulling down material so more upset is needed there.

Another day in the forge and it's stuff again. Started a new scroll wrench. This one will have all the correct dimensions and not be 1/16th to small again.

Punched a round hole in the round bar the hole looks good but the upset is crap but we are getting there. Also upset more bars for more punched holes.

Lastly refined the diamond drift as the current one was too thick on the end and left a less than desirable hole because I had to punch too far with the chisel to get it to fit.

Onward to more pratice.

Another day in the forge and nothing alit of visual progress. Most of the time today was spent resizing the drifts to the correct size. Before the holes were to sloppy but now they easily pass the bars with just a little bit wiggle.

Another day in the forge and more stuff. Resized my drifts and make a larger round one. They are all a tad to big but they are close.

Messed up another scrolling wrench ill get it sooner or later. Mostly I need to learn the tire hammer is not always the best answer.

Lastly made a bolster plate specific to these drifts and needs and I labeled them all.
