With grad school ending, I finally have more time to start building again.

This customer already had a base they loved but needed a smaller tabletop to better fit their space. I was able to repurpose reclaimed barn wood for the new top while keeping the existing base, giving the piece a fresh look while preserving its original character.

There’s something satisfying about taking old materials and turning them into something functional, warm, and built to last.

I know it’s been a while since I posted anything. We all know how life can happen and before we know it we are looking back asking where time went.

The two pieces were built for my wife’s work. I was excited to display them at their recent ribbon cutting. I am also very proud of her accomplishments and getting to this point in her career. I am excited to see the The Cord serve the families of Fremont and provide necessary mental health services.

Meet Killian, the little boy who stole my heart at the Ashland Craft Fair this weekend. You see the plane he is holding is one I bought for my son. Ashman did not have the reaction I did when I saw this piece, but my friend Killian did. He promised to fly me high In the sky when he gets big. When he walked away he exclaimed I love it and gave it a kiss. That is what this is all about, friends. May we all find joy this week to kiss our airplanes. Killian I look forward to our ride dear boy when you get big. You stole my heart ✈️
