🤩 porcelain patio & block paving driveway 🧱

Out with the old and in with the new, another complete transformation, going from old dated design to about as modern as it gets for this patio.

Patio -

This is going to be some place in the summer 🍻

We have some final landscaping to do in the better weather here, so we will post photos again once our clients have the finished article and their new patio furniture out and at the ready.

We are delighted with the finished article and can’t wait to see it in the summer 😍

Before and after photos of a drive way we are working on. This drive way was completely overhauled, digging out, installing new drains/man hole covers and chambers before regrading to make it more usable.

✅ Charcoal soldier course
✅ brindle bricks laid 45 degree herringbone
✅ Brazilian Slate plinth

Its totally transformed the area, making it both more usable for our client and also giving it a bit of kerb appeal 😜

Porcelain paving is increasing with popularity every year for its ever lasting durability and aesthetics. Here’s two examples supplied by Orkney Aggregates ltd

900x600 Kandla Grey porcelain, with Brazilian black slate on the up stands, with a built in planter finished with a grey grout and purple crushed slate chips.

1200 x 600 dark grey timber effect large format porcelain laid in a quarter bond, with light grey upstands on the planter and finished with a black pointing. Edged with black charcoal 200x100 block paving. We think edging patios like this really defines and finishes off the area 🤩

Before and after photos

An overhaul of this patio area, using reclaimed stromness street slabs and a weatherboarding cladded solid fence with a timber coping.

Dressed an old retaining wall with sandstone d**e tops and 50x25 mm timber cladding to give the old wall with no tanking at the back, render wasn’t an option without serious amounts of work. The cladding was a different but modern looking alternative. We think it looks great.

Before and after photos

This garden has been transformed from maintenance to light maintenance , dug out and raised the levels to create a double patio space with paths.

We used the very popular, Brazilian Slate as the paving, and upstands for this one, with a black pointing and red granite chip bands.

We think it looks great, and the view that goes with what a perfect spot to sit and watch the world go by…

This is a large paved garden area with raised plinths/steps for variating levels, with sweeping stair case to the lawn and curved planter.

sawn and honed Raj green paving/d**e tops with anthracite coloured pointing to match the Windows and doors, Brazilian Slate up stands finished with a silicone based off white render.

What a difference , a great secluded spot to enjoy all our beautiful weather 🤥 we’ll surely have a grand summer next year
