Creating this new office space for Xpanse 120 was a monumental task!

✅ Future-proofed the area under the mezzanine area to enable the client to quickly add a ground-floor office if necessary
✅ Atrium filled with natural light
✅ 2 fire-rated stairwells
✅ Partitions
✅ Ceilings

The catch was we only had 10 weeks, and the team smashed it by completing it on time and within budget.

At Proline Internals, we ensure that health and safety are our top priorities. 👷🏼‍♂️

Health and safety are crucial; this industry is prone to hazardous situations and can be dangerous at times. However, to change this, we ensure that everyone completes an online induction where they learn all about the business’s health and safety policies.

In order to keep safe, we believe that our health and safety management systems in construction are a great way to track all our documents, responsibilities and legal standards.

This year we achieved exciting milestones!

Project 1 - Redgate Student Accommodation, Nottingham 📍

We are proud to have contributed to the development of 297 student beds, including 220 clusters and 77 studios. This prime location within Nottingham’s city center, adjacent to the new Business campus for the University of Nottingham, is set to offer an exceptional living and learning environment for students.

Project 2 - Vaughan Park, Tipton 📍
Our team has been dedicated to the construction of two high-spec industrial/warehouse units, strategically situated near Junction 2 of the M5. Designed to cater to various needs, including manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution, these units are poised to elevate operational efficiencies for businesses in the region.

Project 3 - DC5 Megashed, Daventry 📍
With unwavering attention to detail, our team successfully delivered a state-of-the-art warehouse space at DC5 Megashed, Daventry. Designed to meet the surging demands of the e-commerce industry, this facility is a testament to our commitment to excellence in every project we undertake.

We can’t wait for what type of projects 2024 will bring us!

Thanks to the team at for letting us trial out the EXO-S Shoulder Exoskeleton on site last month 💪

This new piece of equipment will be a great addition to the teams tools as it will create safer job sites by reducing worker’s shoulder and neck fatigue when working overhead.

We’re super pleased to announce 2 of the latest projects we’re currently working on.

Project 1 - Redgate Student Accommodation, Nottingham 📍

The development will host 297 student beds with a room mix of 220 clusters and 77 studios.

The building will contain a lounge, gym, study rooms, games rooms and shared private dining space. There will also provide external landscaped areas with outdoor furniture to promote social wellbeing.

The development is located within the city centre adjacent to the new Business campus for the University of Nottingham.

Project 2 - Vaughan Park, Tipton 📍

Two Brand New High Specification Industrial / Warehouse Units that are strategically located off Junction 2 of the M5. These units will be suitable for Manufacturing, Warehouse and Distribution.

At our company, we prioritize the health and safety of our operatives and other workers. We are fully committed to being transparent about our safety protocols. To achieve this, we work closely with Chad Bott and the team at to make sure that all our H&S certificates are up-to-date. ⁣
⁣
As well as this, to ensure that we are always on top of our H&S, we share the full report from all our on-site H&S visits with the main contractor. This includes any areas where improvements could be made.

Quality checks are of the utmost importance to us, which is why we strive to be proactive and forward-thinking when it comes to our productivity and sustainability.

Spreadsheets and paper-based files can be inefficient and unsustainable. To combat this, we have implemented two systems to help us stay on track ⤵️

The first is a management system that allows us to organise our projects from the pricing stage all the way to the final account.

The second is our Health & Safety & Quality platform. This online induction allows new operatives to onboard to the business efficiently, from understanding H&S policies to reading and signing documents and more.

Not only that, but it also allows us to create quality audits to hand over parts of the project, report any issues, use a site diary, raise jobs, clock operatives in and out, and more.

By using these two systems, we can stay efficient and productive while still ensuring quality and safety.

Our biggest project to date 💪

We are so proud to have been part of the amazing Compass Student Accommodation project.

Located in the vibrant city of Birmingham, this building includes a gym, communal areas and a total of 290 studios spanning over 14 floors, offering students a comfortable and safe place to stay while they pursue their studies.

This was such a great project to be a part of, huge effort from all Proline Internals management and operatives.

Attending with the external team from Proline Internals, including Health & Safety Consultant Chad Bott and Social Media Manager Shaquilla Steer, was a fantastic experience.

Proud is an understatement.

A few months ago I went through my late father's shed and there it was, his old Marshalltown trowel with his initials etched into it.

70+ years in the industry between us. Now proudly mounted in my office as a permanent reminder.
