Happy Father’s Day to My Amazing Dad

My father... where to start. My father has always been a major part of my life and my heart. He has been present through all of my most significant milestones with the largest, proudest smile on his face. Always encouraging us to be our best selves and to always value family and our education.

He is the smartest man I’ve ever known. A dedicated medical doctor, he worked as a family practitioner and general surgeon for many hospitals. He was also a professor at a medical college, guiding and mentoring countless medical students. As an entrepreneur, he owned his own clinic – Johnson Family Clinic of Covington. Despite numerous tribulations, he always succeeded in whatever he set his mind to.

I’ve recently learned about some of his incredible achievements, including his service as a Captain in the Air Force as a surgeon. My father has lived a long and successful life, and I pray that I have many more years with him to continue learning from him.

He has raised children who are now a medical doctor, a lawyer, a speech pathologist, a nurse, a bioinformatics professional, a biomedical engineer, a cybersecurity specialist, and a future engineer.
