Leadership is something we believe should be developed, not just assumed.

This week, a group of Kimray team members are taking part in our Influential Leadership Academy, where they’re learning and putting into practice The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and other leadership concepts.

These team members were nominated to participate as part of Kimray’s commitment to developing people and equipping them to lead with greater purpose, effectiveness, and influence.

We’re proud to invest in our people and excited to see how they take what they’re learning back to their teams, families, and communities.

Investing in the next generation starts long before their first day on the job.

Recently, Kimray had the opportunity to host students from Youth for Christ for a behind-the-scenes tour of our facility. Beyond seeing how we manufacture products that serve the energy industry, we also spent time talking about character, leadership, and job readiness.

We believe technical skills matter, but character is what sets people apart. It was a privilege to share some of the values that have shaped Kimray's culture while encouraging these students as they prepare for their futures.

A big thank you to Youth for Christ for the work they do to invest in young people. We're grateful to play a small part in helping equip the next generation of leaders.

Our annual campus-wide Ping Pong Tournament wrapped up this week, and while two people walked away with the championship, everyone walked away with something more valuable.

Throughout the tournament, team members cheered each other on and connected with people they might not interact with every day.

💙 Talent Tuesday | Giving Back Together

Some of the best learning happens outside the workplace.

A few weeks ago, our interns spent the afternoon volunteering at Hope House, one of Kimray's community partners. Together, they helped clean several areas throughout the facility, creating a welcoming space for the women working to rebuild their lives.

At Kimray, we believe internships are about more than gaining professional experience—they're also about serving others and making a positive impact in our community.

We're proud of our interns for representing Kimray so well and grateful to Hope House for the opportunity to serve alongside you!

What's better than ice cream on a hot Oklahoma day?

Recently, Kimray treated our team members by bringing in Roxy's Ice Cream and Just Desserts OKC to serve up some delicious frozen treats. It was a simple way to hit pause, enjoy time together, and show appreciation for the people who make this company and our culture what it is.

When unexpected challenges arise, great partnerships make all the difference.

Manufacturing Skills Academy (MSA) found itself in a difficult situation when an equipment issue left its training facility without air conditioning during one of Oklahoma's hottest weeks of the year. Rather than let the class be interrupted, Kimray was glad to open one of our conference rooms so the students could continue learning.

Investing in people and supporting workforce development benefits all of us. We're grateful for organizations like MSA that are equipping the next generation of manufacturing professionals, and we're thankful we could play a small part in helping keep their training on track.

Learning, laughter, and leadership all in one room!

Recently, we welcomed a fantastic group of leaders and team members to our on-campus Situational Leadership® II class. Through meaningful discussions, practical application, and a few laughs along the way, participants strengthened their ability to adapt their leadership style to meet the needs of others.
