Swire Properties is supporting The Hong Kong Palace Museum's “Bi-City Youth Cultural Leadership Programme” (The Programme) for the fifth consecutive year. Under the theme “Culture in the Making—”, 22 students from Beijing and Hong Kong have embarked on a journey of learning, interning and exploring cultural landmarks and communities across Beijing, Guangzhou and Hong Kong. Through visits to cultural landmarks such as Hong Kong's West Kowloon Cultural District and Beijing’s 798 Art District, as well as Swire Properties’ developments including Taikoo Place and Taikoo Li Sanlitun, students have explored how heritage, innovation and urban development intersect to shape vibrant and sustainable communities.

Last week, the students gathered at the Swire Archives at Taikoo Place in Hong Kong to reflect on their rewarding three-week journey across the three cities and exchange insights from their cultural explorations. The gathering marked the conclusion of this phase of the Programme, ahead of the students embarking on four-week internships at leading cultural institutions and corporations in Hong Kong.

太古地產連續第五年支持由香港故宮文化博物館主辦的旗艦青年學習及交流項目「雙城青年文化人才交流計劃」。本屆計劃以「文化，生『城』中……」為主題，22位來自北京和香港的大學生展開一段學習、實習與文化考察旅程，穿梭北京、廣州及香港，走訪香港西九文化區、北京798藝術區等文化地標和太古地產的發展項目，包括香港太古坊和北京三里屯太古里等，探索文化傳承與城市發展的互動如何營造具活力和可持續的社區。

上周，學員們齊聚位於香港太古坊的太古歷史檔案中心，一同回顧過去三星期、跨越三座城市的見聞與感悟，並為接下來為期四星期於文化及商業機構的實習做好準備。

Under the theme, “The Art of Archiving,” Swire Archives recently participated in the International Archives Week exhibition, perfectly capturing the mission to preserve the past while inspiring the future. By reimagining archival materials into creative heritage keepsakes, the display showcased how historical records continue to inspire anniversary celebrations across Swire’s operating companies.

Standouts included Cathay’s 80th anniversary display, featuring a reproduction of its first cabin crew uniform in iconic air force blue, alongside a collection of uniform-clad ‘blind box’ bears. Taikoo Sugar’s 145th anniversary showcase included a “little sugar cube” plushie, mini tote bags and a vintage coffee sugar package featuring its classic yin-yang logo and signature blue palette. HAECO honoured its 75th anniversary with a pin set tracing the evolution of the company’s logo, offering a glimpse into its long-standing aviation heritage.

歷史文物的價值，往往超乎想像！太古歷史檔案部早前參與由香港檔案學會主辦的年度盛事「香港國際檔案週展覽」。活動以「存檔見藝」為主題，展示歷史文物如何透過創意作重新演繹。展覽中，太古歷史檔案部帶來一系列別具特色的展品，展示歷史檔案如何啟發太古旗下不同營運公司籌備周年誌慶活動。

當中包括國泰為慶祝80周年而復刻的首套經典空軍藍色空中服務員制服，並推出身穿不同制服的盲盒小熊公仔系列；太古糖業145周年紀念品則包括「方糖」公仔、迷你手提袋，以及印有經典陰陽標誌和標誌性藍色設計的懷舊咖啡糖包；港機集團則以一套徽章細說其75年來的發展歷程，展現航空業的變化。

Savyavasa, jointly developed by Swire Properties and Jakarta Setiabudi Internasional Group in South Jakarta’s Dharmawangsa district, has welcomed its first residents. The development comprises 402 apartments across three residential towers, bringing premium living to life with lush greenery, exceptional amenities and hospitality-led services.

Savyavasa has already achieved strong sales results, generating sales revenue of IDR3.6 trillion (approximately HK$1.6 billion), reflecting sustained demand for high-quality residences. As the only new large-scale residential development in Dharmawangsa, it offers a rare combination of location, scale and international design standards in Jakarta’s premium residential market.

Last Thursday, Swire Pacific Chairman Guy Bradley, in his capacity as Chairman of the Cathay Group, attended a strike-the-gong ceremony at the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited’s (HKEX) “Champions of Connectivity” celebration. The event marked 40 years of the city’s modern stock exchange, with Cathay Pacific being the first company to list on the unified Stock Exchange of Hong Kong in 1986.

During the ceremony, Mr Bradley gave a speech where he noted that Hong Kong’s financial markets have gone from strength to strength, supporting innovation, facilitating capital flows and connecting global investors with opportunities across the region. “Cathay has grown alongside Hong Kong on this journey, supporting its development both as an international financial and aviation hub,” he added.

Mr Bradley was joined at the event by Cathay Group Chief Executive Officer Ronald Lam and others from the senior management team, as well as Mr Carlson Tong, Chairman of HKEX, and Ms Bonnie Y Chan, Chief Executive Officer of HKEX. This important milestone highlights both the Cathay Group’s and Swire Pacific’s strong confidence in Hong Kong’s future.

上周四， 太古公司主席白德利先生以國泰集團主席身份，出席了香港交易及結算所有限公司（香港交易所）的「連繫全球引航未來」敲鑼儀式，慶祝香港聯合交易所有限公司成立40周年，標誌著香港證券市場現代化的進程，而國泰航空是於1986年在聯交所合併後上市的首家公司。

白德利先生致辭時表示，香港的金融市場持續穩步發展，在支持創新、促進資金流動及連結全球投資者和商機方面發揮著重要作用。他指：「國泰與香港共同成長，致力推動這城市發展成為國際金融中心及航空樞紐。 」
