📸 Crews in Olympia are replacing a section of aging underground power cable.

✅ In 2025, we replaced more than 100 miles of underground cable across our service area — investments that help reduce outages and improve reliability for our customers.

At PSE, we’re putting your energy dollars to work year-round—maintaining, upgrading, and modernizing the electric grid so it’s reliable today and ready for the future.

This Earth Month, we're proud to share the incredible success of our Baker River Project fish hatchery and fish passage programs! For several years now, we've seen sockeye returns continue to grow, with 2025 marking a record year for both outgoing and returning salmon.

Working hand-in-hand with local Tribes and government agencies, we're proving that innovation and collaboration can truly protect our planet and its amazing natural resources. Partnerships like these show how we can power our communities while caring for the environment we all share. Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife

We’re celebrating National Apprenticeship Week at Puget Sound Energy! ⚡

Our apprenticeship programs play a critical role in developing a skilled, safety-focused workforce through hands-on experience, mentorship, and meaningful career pathways. From day one, our apprentices are learning, growing, and helping deliver reliable energy to the communities we serve. Plus, they work in the community to find and inspire the next generation of apprentices.

👏 Please join us in thanking our apprentices—and the mentors who support them—for helping keep the lights on today and building the workforce of tomorrow.

⚡ INNOVATION IN ACTION! ⚡
We're excited to share our partnership with Seattle-based Electric Era EV Fast-Charging to demonstrate cutting-edge battery-backed EV fast charging technology at our Kent facility!

This isn't just any charging station - it features four ports delivering up to 200 kW each, powered by an innovative battery energy storage system that works smarter, not harder. The results? 70 kW peak demand reduction while still delivering lightning-fast charging to our growing electric fleet.

What makes this special:
🚀 6-month deployment vs. 12–18-month industry standard
💰 Reduced infrastructure costs by sharing existing power
🔋 Peak power delivery of 209 kW while drawing only 139 kW from the grid
📈 99.95% uptime - exceeding industry standards!

This technology is a game-changer for businesses looking to electrify their fleets without straining the grid and driving up electricity costs. Innovation like this helps us build a cleaner energy future for all!

Protect your home from the elements by adding insulation to your attic, walls, floor, and HVAC ducts. Weatherization helps block cool air from entering during the winter months and warm air during the summer months. It’s a great way to add efficiency to your home and help the planet.

Nature and energy thriving together! 🌿 ⚡ This Earth Month, we’re celebrating two stream restoration wins from our Energize Eastside and Sammamish – Juanita projects:

💧 Willows Creek: rebuilt stream channel, wider culvert and thousands of native plants now reduce flooding and improve habitat near our Sammamish substation.

🐦 Richards Creek: After four growing seasons, native plants flourish and attract birds, wildlife and fish near our Richards Creek substation.

Healthier creeks = better infrastructure, environment and community. Happy ! 🌎

What an incredible day celebrating clean energy in our community! 🌞

We recently cut the ribbon on Pickering Barn's new solar array - a shining example of what happens when neighbors come together for a cause. In 2024, 360 City of Issaquah - Government residents stepped up during our Green Power Challenge, earning the city a $20,000 award that helped make this project possible.

This beautiful 65kW installation will:
⚡ Generate clean energy equivalent to powering 4 homes for a year
💰 Save the city over $6,000 annually (reinvested in parks & programming!)
🌍 Remove the equivalent of 8 gas-powered cars from the road each year

So proud of the community's commitment to building a cleaner, more sustainable future in Issaquah!
