We’re strengthening grid resilience with our new mobile substations—portable, rapidly deployable units that help restore power faster during outages and keep electricity flowing during maintenance or emergencies.

These investments enhance flexibility and improve response times, ensuring we can better serve our communities when unexpected disruptions occur.

At PSE, we’re putting your energy dollars to work year-round—maintaining, upgrading, and modernizing the electric grid so it’s reliable today and ready for the future.

We are excited to announce our latest Community Solar site located at Zuanich Point Park in Bellingham. Thanks to our partnership with Port of Bellingham, this site marks our 14th Community Solar location, allowing customers in the Whatcom County area to subscribe to renewable energy without the need to install or maintain their own rooftop solar array.

A powerful step forward for our community 🌞

YWCA Bellingham is now Puget Sound Energy’s first Multi-Occupant Solar customer, bringing renewable energy to a place supporting women and families in Whatcom County for more than 100 years.

Installed at the YWCA’s apartment building this new solar array will help lower energy costs for families living there and free up resources for what matters most.

It’s a great example of how clean energy can create real, local impact for the communities we serve.

Join us in celebrating a clean energy milestone in Bellevue! ☀️

Puget Sound Energy recently hosted a ribbon cutting for a new 93-kilowatt solar array at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue. This project will help reduce energy costs, lower the Club’s carbon footprint, and create new learning opportunities for local youth.

Since 2025, PSE has awarded over $3.3 million to install solar projects benefiting nonprofits, affordable housing, and tribal organizations across the region.

We are excited to announce that we continue to expand our clean energy portfolio by adding a long-term power purchase agreement with Avangrid for 119.5 MW of wind energy from its Big Horn I Wind Project in Klickitat County. This project will generate enough energy to power about 70,000 PSE homes every year.

Clearing a sewer or septic line? Call PSE before your plumber starts.

A natural gas line could be running through the pipe—a cross bore. Using cutting tools could break it and create a serious hazard. We’ll meet your plumber on-site for free to help keep everyone safe. Learn more at http://ms.spr.ly/6184vPZ5M
