We maintain our pipes – you maintain yours.
PSE maintains the pipeline up to your gas meter—but buried lines to pools, barbecues, or outbuildings could be your responsibility. If not properly maintained, they can corrode or leak. Have a licensed plumbing contractor inspect and repair them as needed. Learn more at http://ms.spr.ly/6185akbwH

We're ready for potential power outages tomorrow. September is wasting no time, and we're tracking an unseasonably strong early season weather system arriving Wednesday that could cause numerous outages across Western Washington, especially with leaves still green on trees and vegetation. We're ready to respond and encourage customers to prepare now for potential outages.

We've just launched our new PSE Up & Go Electric Public Charging map to help you locate and explore PSE-owned charging stations across our service area! The map launched today with over 50 Level 2 and Level 3 chargers, and will expand with additional chargers, along with capabilities like availability and status updates in the future.

One year ago, we flipped the switch on our Beaver Creek Wind Facility in Montana – our 88 turbines generated an impressive 641GWh of clean energy in the last year – enough to power more than 52,450 homes. We're optimistic about even greater output ahead and are proud to have the facility in our diverse portfolio of resources.

WHAT’S IN THAT BOX? Dockton Road on Vashon Island is our latest undergrounding project! Where there used to be overhead wires aplenty, there are now only communications lines! This new section of underground wire will help increase reliability in and out of storm season on the island.

Now is the perfect time to ensure your natural gas heating equipment is ready for the fall season. PSE natural gas customers can schedule a free safety check of their gas furnace, water heater, or other gas appliance by calling us at 1-888-225-5773. Remember to set your water heater to 120 degrees F (low setting) to prevent scalding and save energy.

Today, we're honoring hydropower! At Puget Sound Energy, we're proud to harness the power of water through our hydroelectric facilities, including the Baker River Hydroelectric Project (Upper and Lower Baker Dams) and the Snoqualmie Falls Hydroelectric Project, helping to power homes and businesses across our region with clean, renewable energy.

Together both facilities can generate enough energy to power nearly 80,000 homes a year.

Hydropower has been a cornerstone of PSE's generation portfolio for more than a century, providing not just electricity, but also supporting local ecosystems, recreation, and flood control for our communities.

As we work toward a clean energy future, hydropower remains a vital part of that journey.

Crews in mirror closer than they appear!

PSE crews were back on Vashon this week working to improve the reliability with new poles and wire on the island!

Replacing these poles maintains safety, reduces wildfire risk and strengthens the system during storms.

Every day, our crews from Kitsap to Kittitas County work to keep power flowing safely to homes and businesses across the communities we serve. This means maintaining 26,000 miles of power lines, nearly 400 substations and more than 338,000 utility poles. Last year, PSE upgraded 20 substations and replaced hundreds of miles of wire to strengthen the system and support more reliable service for customers.
