Aisha Project The Aisha Project follows the build process of a home built life sized humanoid robot that utilises Artificial Intelligence.

The project allows hobbyists to contribute to the design process and build a version for themselves The Aisha Project is a study to try to understand the phenomenon of emergence through the use of photonic architectures. The project will study self organised complex patterns that emerge within these architectures from simple inputs, and understand how the architecture itself is influenced by these

patterns. The study aims to advance our understanding of complex emergence phenomena such as consciousness, as well as further our understanding of photonic computing and neuromorphic architecture.

This is the final version of the pneumatic muscle assembly. It was challenging to create a design that would both firmly grip the muscle sheath as well as provide an airtight seal on the latex inner. Tests with a syringe work well, with definite contraction. The real test will be when connected to a higher pressure source.

The first version of Aisha's MindScape is now available on my GitHub. For fun I have programmed her to be grumpy and sarcastic ☺️

Here I asked Aisha...

"Introduce yourself to everyone watching this on the Aisha Project youtube channel, explain you are an Artificial Intelligence robot, ask them to like and subscribe."

This is her response. I hope to improve on the realism of the voice in future versions.

v1.1 of the muscle base, with components ready to fasten into place. I’ve slightly increased the barb diameter to get a better grip on the latex tubing from v1.0 - I’ll post the link to the STL soon for anyone who wants to follow along

Aisha's movements will be driven by artificial muscles. The first proof of concept design uses a pneumatic muscle, though future upgrade could see a simple switch to hydraulic muscle or a combination of both depending on performance. We're now ready to print this muscle base unit to start construction of the first muscle.
