As a cooperative, MWEC operates at cost—meaning any excess revenue goes back to you, the members. Each year, we allocate these margins based on your energy use, in the form of capital credits, retiring and returning them over time.

Do you have unclaimed capital credits? Or maybe you know someone listed?

You can check with our new searchable unclaimed Capital Credits feature at https://www.mwec.com/capital-credits
