Due to some issues with java version incompatibility, some computers may have had issues with either starting up pLOT or with handling the database libraries. This is an issue that was made known to me only recently. The latest update fixes these issues on the systems to which I had access for testing purposes. The update also addresses other issues and adds an optional error log that can be toggles on or off from the Window menu. This is purely optional and can help when addressing bugs. I've been made aware of potential issues on Mac type computers and will be working to address those when I have access to a test system. The update is posted at the link below.

A plasmid mapping and manipulation software. Updated version allows for use of custom Java plugins. Updated to resolve some major UI issues and startup crashing on some systems. See Updates.txt in the zip file for a complete list of updates.

A new update is now available on the blog that fixes two issues that could occur when reverse complementing a plasmid in full or in part. Additionally, new plugins were added including an alignment plugin and some logo designer tools.

A new update is now available. A few GUI/bug fixes implemented as well as an updated version of the Gibson Designer plugin. The update can be downloaded from the blog or directly from the link below.

I'm in the last stages of a new update for pLOT. In addition to general but fixed, etc... the new version will be able to switch themes without needing to restart.
