Mad Cow Metal Works, Inc. Mad Cow Metal Works, Inc. specializes in CUSTOM ALUMINUM WELDING AND FABRICATION, CUSTOM DRY BOXES, Stainless steel goods are 304.

is a fully operational machine shop specializing in aluminum sheet goods, fabrication/welding along with pipe and tubing work. Our capabilities extend into stainless steel and carbon steel.

-CNC laser cutting used for cutting raw sheet stock in aluminum, carbon steel and stainless steel while holding tolerances to plus or minus .010 inch or better.
-CNC punching used for punching holes and shapes

into the same material while holding tolerances of plus or minus .010 inch or better.
-Forming machines used for forming sheet stock into precision sheet metal parts while holding tolerances of plus or minus .020 inch or better on dimension and plus or minus one degree on angles.
-Pemming machines used for insertion of captive fasteners, nuts, studs, standoffs and other captive fastener designs.
-We use 5052-H32 for aluminum sheet goods, 6063 for aluminum pipe bending and 6061-T6 for general machining. Our material limitation maximums for laser cutting, punching, forming and pemming are as follows:
-Aluminum 3/16'
-Stainless Steel 3/16"
-Carbon Steel 1/4"

We take on most any aluminum welding job, stainless steel work on an individual basis and do not take on any carbon steel welding or grinding work as the carbon dust contaminates our shop. We do offer powder coating on most of our products, but only our products, and have limited color supply and oven capacity. The specialized machinery we use for jobs takes time to draw, program and set up. Generally it is not cost effective unless multiple quantities are ordered. We build custom parts, but we are not a parts retailer.
