We are a subsidiary of Henke-Sass, Wolf GmbH (HSW GmbH), of Tuttlingen, Germany. Tuttlingen, also known as the "surgical instrument capital of the world", is home to over 250 surgical instrument companies. HSW GmbH is a shareholder in several other companies including Almo, Europe's largest manufacturer of disposable injection systems. All products are designed and developed by in-house engineers specializing in optics, electronics, mechanics and materials processing. Manufacturing capabilities include the machining of small metal components and the assembly of fine mechanical and optical instruments. HSW GmbH is holder of various patents, trademarks and registered designs. Jochen Busch and family of Arolsen, Germany. Armin Lekitsch are the Co-Chief Executive Officers who oversees the entire operation. Kingston, Jr. is the President and CEO of HSWoA and runs the day to day operations here in the USA. HSWoA was originally established as a service and repair facility for HSW GmbH's key North American customers. These customers are primarily medical equipment manufacturers and distributors of industrial instruments and equipment. The facility assembles new products and repairs instruments damaged during use, eliminating the long turnaround time involved in sending instruments to Germany for repairs. HSWoA activities focus on the medical endoscope.

Accounts Payable bookings
• Create and maintain customer and vendor accounts, including setting up new customers
• Review and issue checks and electronic payments to vendors
• Process all vendor invoices
• Filing of all customer and vendor invoices

Customer Service
• Answer customer questions regarding products and services
• Make suggestions regarding other available products and services when applicable
• Enter purchase orders
• Send order confirmations
• Schedule shipments
• Arrange freight pick ups
• Issue packing lists
• Communicate and work with warehouse staff to prioritize work
• Provide support for remote sales staff

Special Requirements:

Advanced Microsoft Office – emphasis on Excel a must
G/L Accounting experience a plus

HSWoA has an immediate need for a Production Planner and Scheduler. The production planner will be responsible for organizing production in accordance with demand while optimizing production procedures and following quality standards. This person should be well organized, possess advanced communication skills along with strong computer skills.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare, adjust, and organize the Manufacturing Capacity Plan
• Coordinate workflow based on capacity plan, setting priorities and work sequencing as needed
• Analyze, report, and monitor material usage, turnaround times, and back orders
• Obtain production output numbers
• Prepare and submit status reports
• Lead and participate in Lean Manufacturing projects
• Report on operations Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)

Qualifications:
• Ability to communication effectively with all levels both in and outside of the organization
• Must be a self-starter, able to work independently while successfully contributing to a team environment
• Should be motivated and optimistic with the desire for growth
• Must have strong analytical skills
• Thorough knowledge of MS Office applications
• Hands on mentality with a creative approach

Requirements:
• A college degree is preferred
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in production scheduling and planning
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Experience working with inventory and scheduling software programs
• Strong analytical capabilities
• Six Sigma or equivalent preferred
• SAP/ERP experience a plus
