We had a great time visiting Waller Middle School in Enid. We drove around some of our early quadrupeds for their 8th grade class and answered some of the kids thoughtful questions on robots and engineering design.

Thank you Mrs. Helen Beck for the invite. We had a great time and it’s exciting to see kids at this age in so enthusiastic about the subject.

Happy to recently host a few of Francis Tuttle Technology Center Danforth Campus‘s computer science and engineering classes at our robotics shop with instructor Josh Russell.

We talked about some of our software projects, reviewed some early designs, and discussed the role of iteration in building better technology. The students had some fantastic questions, and we’re always happy to see kids so engaged in and simulation.

Our Human Mode Robotics team had a great time collaborating with OSU and ASU on some of their exciting and practical grant work in robotics this past year.

This particular study dove into understanding customer preferences when interacting with service robots, which is a very practical subject since we will all be interacting with more service robots in the future.

To help facilitate OSU and ASU's University Grant Research, we were able to lend our robotics and software development skills to build a custom robot UI (user interface) according to their requirements that automatically generates avatars with varying personality elements so researchers could measure human customer engagement with them. Our robotics engineers also built a quick serving robot chassis that could maneuver in a restaurant environment and capture customer orders.

A big thanks to Dr. Lisa Slevitch from OSU's School of Hospitality and Tourism Management, Dr. Katsiaryna Siamionava from ASU for including us in the project, and Dr. Skye Cooley from OSU for building connections between local researchers and industry partners.

We love seeing and educators driving robotics innovation in the state, and are excited to be a part of it.

Check out our work in dexterous hand! This hand can be fully teleoperated through VR from an operator from far away. Expect to see similar hands added to our humanoid robots in the future!

Human Mode exhibited multiple robotics and our Massive Loop VR platform at the Oklahoma Center for the Advancement of Science and Technology (OCAST) Innovation Expo at the Oklahoma State Capitol on April 10.

We had a great time presenting our early Lynx quadruped prototype and teleoperated dexterous hand to our legislators and and fellow innovators in the state.

We had a great conference season this year. This is just our second time to step out into conferences and show our work. We got a lot of attention for progress on Bipedal robots.

Also, encouraged to see Oklahomans excited and engaged in our work in creating a digital twin of downtown in our Massive Loop metaverse platform. We think our state is way ahead of the country in adoption of this paradigm. Let’s keep it that way.
