Greenfoods Project The optimisation potential identified will be realised in at least 5 companies as best practice examples.

Within the IEE GREENFOODS project the European food and beverage industry will be led to high energy efficiency and reduction of fossil carbon emissions by the development of a branch concept offering tailor-made solutions included in VECC. Within this IEE project a branch concept for the European food and beverage industry will be developed based on 200 basic audits and 20 detailed audits perfor

med in the partner countries (Austria, Germany, Spain, Poland and UK) and France. Furthermore a tailor-made funding scheme and a training module will be developed and integrated in the EUREM or an equivalent training system and Virtual Energy Competence Centres (VECC) will be established in all participating countries offering support and contact points to interested SMEs, energy managers, etc.
